# Swap Architecture

At the core of Gamerse’s ecosystem is the ability to securely swap cryptographic tokens in a decentralized way. It does this through the use of an escrow smart contract to hold both NFT and ERC-20 tokens until the correct conditions have been met for release.

$LFG can be used in place of ETH as payment for NFTs. Both buyer and seller fees receive a 50% discount on fees when $LFG is utilized as the base currency in the transaction.

Gamerse also supports other ERC-20 currencies and charges a 0.50% fee to swap.
